Boys Brigade.The big posters all around town announcing that the Boy’s Brigade would have an entertainment this evening in Sisterna Hall, has given the public notice of what is going on.Great preparations have been made by these young men to have a social party that will bring cheer to the hearts of all who may attend and the number should be large. We all need encour-ment and perhaps none more so than young men just about entering into the stern walks of life. These young men are working for a Christian object and need assistance.The old saying that “all work andno play makes Jack a dull boy,” is a trite one. That all work might be a close neighbor to the yonng men they will mix pleasure and labor and thus make the lemonade of life palatable.One cannot spend a few hours in Berkeley any more pleasantly than going t ) Sisterna Hall this evening where you will be courteously received and everything will be done to make you /orget for awhile the sorrows which are always getting loose in this world and floating around promiscuously and are surely bound to light on some one.
