Wrightwas joined on the first team bv classmates Boomer Taylor and George Egger. a pair of offensive linemen, and Tom Gander, a defensive lineman Center Mark Armstrong and running back Bill Beith. another pair of Sailor seniors, were named to the second team. Beith also was tabbedas a defensive back End Ray Van Dusen and defensive back Dau Campbell, another senior twosome also received second-team berths forLakeview (8-2). which ended as theDistrict 10 Division II runnerup in 1980 under first-year Head Coach Bernie Davis.
