District 88 BandParent’s CandySale A SuccessDistrict 88 band parents held their regular meeting November 5th. The Junior High concerti band played several ^elections before the business meeting and then the winners of the recent canjly sale were awarded their prizes.The sale was to last only ! eight days, but due to the flu epidemic it was carried into^the second week to give all the children a fair chance to win a nrize. The sales children were divided into teams and the winning team was from the McKinley school district. Mrs. Herman Shipley, 3406 Butterfield Road was captain. Each of these children received a one pound candy bar and will also be treated to an all day outing next spring at Riverview Amusement Park
