IUIO CU1U U1 ut, duu uuc wc aic 1mean the children and me, surrounded by luxury.”Before retiring the children knelt down in front of an Iron bed and prayed .that papa would be found before another night The mother then tucked them in bed, and five rpinutes later they were fast asleep.Mrs. Collier, No Doubt. The woman above referred to is undoubtedly Mrs. George Collier of Michigan City and not a Mrs. Otto at all. Michigan City has but one Prank Otto and he is working every day in the Franklin street sewer trench while his wife is also here and they have no small children. But Mrs. Collier and four of her children have disappeared and are believed to be in Chicago.Last week Mrs. Collier caused the arrest of her husband on the charge of abandoning his children and be was to have a hearing this morning. Mrs. Collier pretended to be sick abed Saturday and her case was reported to the Charity guild, but Sunday morning she was able to get up, take the four youngest children, Lottie, 10; Thomas, 8; Frances, 7, and Harry 6 years of age, and hike out. The oldest child Leroy, aged 11, was left behind and is now with his grandmother, Mrs. Thomas McGraw, near Hoosier slide. The last seen of Mrs. Collier she and her children were headed west along the Michigan Central tracks afoot. The supposition is that they came back to the depot and boarded the 11 o’clock train Sunda^ forenoon for Chicago/ They were supplied with a basket of clothing and gmb as mentioned in the above article. It is known that Mrs. Collier had some money, for she received a registered letter from some one, presumably an admirer, on Saturday. „
