All the mem bers were present. By previous arrangement each member had been allotted his portion of the menu to fill and each attempted to surpass his brother. When the feast was spread it*consisted of almost every delicacy known At the conclusion'there was a decided impression made in the edibles. Cleve was told some “rosy” taies of the new country he will ex perience, stories which would prepare bim for some of the daily events. Mr. Wight appreciated the spirit in which $he banquet was given, to say nothing at the banquet itself.The members of the club deeply regret the loss of Cleve as a brother as he was a favorite, but their best wishes for his success will always le with him.
