House Permits at 201 MarkPermits for new houses passed the 200 mark this week as four were granted by the building inspector’s department, raising the 1961 total to 201. A year ago at this time 294 permits for new houses had been issued.The four this week went to: Norman Weitzel at 304 Pontiac Drive;Richard O’Leary at 2025 Sunny-side Street; J. D. Hubbard at 2014 Adel St.; and B A Homes at 1617 S. Oakhili Ave.Mrs. A. C. Hough. 55 S. Atwood Ave., was issued a permit to alter a house at 55 S. Atwood Ave.to seven apartments. The requestwas approved by the city plan commission at a meeting this week.R. F. Garske was issued a permit to make alterations to a house at 116 Kellogg Ave.
