Mrs. Edward Burkliead and Mrs. Kay Baird served hot IchocoJate and cake to the pupils, r The boys and girls in the firs/' grade, under the direction-oi their teacher,'Mrs. Ola Irene Hughes, invited their parents and'friends to tea Friday afternoon. The girls | wearing little white tea aprons assisted by the hoys, were in charge of serving the * refreshments. A patriotic, motif was carried out In all the arrangements. .', -Preceding, the tea, a program of dramatization and music was offered by the pupils, and requests by most of the mothers to hear them read wa3 granted.Mothers registering in the guest book were:.
