The stockholders of the co-opera-tfve grain elevator at Montmorencl met Saturday evening and elected dl-l rectors and officers for that organisation to serve during the ensuing year. One hundred farmers from Shelby and Wabash townships were present and matters of Importance to ; that locality wore discussed. The fol-| lowing directors were named: William Burkle, John Martin, Matthew Snfffen, James E. Marshall, William Beutler, W. S. Neville and Oscar Beutler. The officers elected are William Burkle, president; John Martin, vice-president; V. P. Snfffen, secretary; J. 75. Marshal), treasurer. The elevator Is now running to Its fall capacity, which Is 40,000 trash-1 ela of grain.
