The conference will involve professional meetings for music teachers and a concert presented by studentsM i % A ■ _ _selected from schools throughout northeastern Illinois.Crete-Monee high school students participating in the band include Mike Gearhart, baritone; Jerry Kirkpatrick, french horn; Carol Pensinger, flute;Darrell Slider, clarinet, and Don Vlazny, clarinet.Student chorus members are sopranos, Mary Jane Barrett,Royce Buchanan, and Marcia Parks; altos, Kathy Lester and Pat Tosh and Cynthia Wynkoop, and bass, Paul Allen and Rory Clark.♦ * ♦THEIR instructors, Robert C.Slider, band director, and Arthur Wolf, choral director, will attend the conference. The senior high school IMEA conference will be held at Bloomhigh school in Chicago Heights. ShoemakersThe 7:30 p.m. concert will be open to the public at a nominal fee.school students will attend theIMEA junior high school division at Naperville. Band participants include John Brooks, cornet, Rita Crosser, clarinet, and Marcie Weisz, oboe.Representing the chorus will be Bev Clauson, Carol Cosme and Sue Wroughton, sopranos; Debbie Hantak, Vesta Redus and Joyce Vlazny, altos; Charles Goransen and David Rice, tenors, and Jose Regalado, bass.Junior high music teacher Robert Bunt will attend with his students. The conference band, orchestra and chorus will perform for the public at Naperville high school at 3 p.m. at a nominal fee.About 350 skilled workers take part in the making of oneHubbard Trail junior high 1 pair of shoes.
