The famous one armed nianist,I Paul Wittgenstein, will be the feature of the Coleman Chamber Concert next Sunday afternoon, Nov. 19, in the Pasadena Playhouse. He began his career at an early age, and a brilliant future was predicted j for him when the loss of his right J arm seemed to have finished his musical career. However, he began intensive practice to perfect thetechnique of his left hand with' such success that critics have often j: declared he makes the piano soundI like two people playing with four■ hands. iI The Roth String Quartet of Budapest will be heard with Wittgen-j stem in a Suite for piano, two I violins and cello by Erich Korn-! gold. The Roth Foursome will also play string quartets by Mozart and ; j Debussy. It is noted for its many recordings, now selling in the sec-1 j ond million. The Roth comes to | Pasadena in its 17th consecutive tour.
