ttock promoter protests lawSAN ANTONIO (AP) — A local promoter says he will take City Hall to court over a new ordinance aimed at protecting children from obscenity at rock concerts.The new ordinance, which Mayor Henry Cisneros said is the first of its kind in the nation, prohibits unescorted children 13 and younger from attending concerts where certain obscene acts depicted in song or on stage.“It’s obscene to me that we are even discussing this,” said Jack Orbin of Stone City Productions during a three-hour City Council debate Thursday.“We will research it thoroughly and challenge it in court,” he saidCisneros, who pushed for the ordinance, said the issue “really boils down in my opinion to common sense limits.
