a-erntd-eda I of heIn Enfield Meihodisl ChurchOfMiss Norma Faye Baines daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Offie Asbury Baines of Enfield, became the bride of James Michael Rouse of Goldsboro, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Rouse of Warsaw, Saturday, November 14, at 4:30 o'clock in the afternoon at the Trinity Methodist Church in Enfield. The Reverend Carl W. Barbee officiated.White baskets held white chrysanthemums, gladioli and snapdragons before a background of palms and branched candelabra holding lighted white candles.Wedding music was 'presented by Mrs. T. B. Winstead of Elm City, organist, and Mrs. S. A. Bea-vens, soloist.The bride, given in marriage bv her father, wore a gown of white tulle- and lacc with seed pearls out-ling; the round necline and lace bodice. Two panels of tulle reached to the floor from the center-back, giving the effect of a train and a front panel of lace extended to the hemline. Her fingertip veil of illusion was attached to an ivory cap embroidered in seed pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of bridal roses and fringed carnations.Attending the bride was Miss Louise Gorham Winstead, former college roommate of the bride. She wore a waltz length gown of soft rose with a fitted satin waistline and a panel of chiffon accenting the back, similiar to the bride's. Her hat was of matching satin with a circular veil, and she carried a cascade of blush-pink fringed carnations.Mr. Rouse had as best man his brother, Waverly Clinton Rouse of Goldsboro. Ushers were Thomas Offie Baines of Enfield, brother of the bride. Clifton W. Paderick of Chapel Hill, and John A. J»*lt;ch ol Goldsboro.Mrs. Baines wore for her daughter’s wedding a blue lace dress over satin with a matching feathered hat and a white cymbidium corsage. Mrs. Rouse was attired in a beige lace dress over satin with matching accessories and awhite cymbidium corsage.Immediately after ,the ceremony, the couple greeted the guests in the vestibule of the church. When the couple left for a wedding trip to western North Carolina and Virginia, the bride was wearing a brown tweed suit with a fur hat, skin accessories, and a corsage of white cymbidiums. They will make their home at Goldwayne Apartments, C-5, East Walnut Street, Goldsboro.Mrs. Rouse is a 1959 graduate of Woman’s College, University of North Carolina, where she obtained her BSSA degree. She is now working as medical secretary for Dr. Kenneth WiJkins in GoldsboroMr. Rouse attended Chowan College in Murfreesboro and is a reporter on the Goldsboro News-Argus.CCHANGE POSITIONSCINCINNATI (AP)—Clyde King began 'the 1959 baseball season as a coach with the .Cincinnati Reds.
