Annie Oakley” at I he present time, for certainly no better shot than this 22-year-old young lady has been reported to date.Patty last week went hunting small game in Washington county with her husband, the first time she had been out in the fields or woods with a gun. The first squirrel she saw and took aim at, she missed, but the next three squirrels she saw that same day she killed with her first .shot at each. Later Jii the week she was hmiN jug in 1 his county near Davidson, and got a squirrel with her one and only shot on Lhis latter expc* dition. So all in all, it was four squirrels out of five shots aimed by Patty.A number ot the small animals were fox squirrels, and one regular gray. Mrs. Laws was formerly employed here as cashier in the local A P slure on Penn slrectiPatty is receiving much praise from her many friends as being the expert hunter of the dav.
