He arrived from New York Cty last Saturday eve-nng,Smth, a graduate of Sandusky High school, left Sandusky in 1932 to find employment in the worldof the stage in the “Big Town”. He is now writing some radio scripts for the popular “Dr. Christian, coast to coast network program as well as other free-lance radio script writing. He was engaged in radio continuity writing during the duraton of the New York World’s Fair, and has produced many of the scripts for the “Death Valley Days’* program.Mr, Smith stated that he is working at present on a play which he hopes to have on Broadway short-ly. Another drama has been takenuntier ’ option by a London producing company and will be produced there soon, it’ is thought. 'Since leaving Sandusky, he has had several seasons experience on the legitimate stage.
