AVAVER1Y NEWS.Independent: The district court for the November term ■ was opened on Wednesday afternoon, the 4th of November. Judge J. J. Clark presiding. No business 'other than the assignment of cases.for trial was done. OnThursday morning the grand jury was impaneled with John Homrighaus as foreman and Dorothy Lee as clerk. They were in session until Wednesday morning of this week and after reporting their work to the court they were discharged. They found an indictment against Edward Burke who had bc.cn bound over to the grand jury an a charge of assault with intent to commit great bodily injury. Nellie Veza who had been hound over to the grand jury on a charge of maintaining a. house of ill-fame.
