Miss Himes of Elkhart directed her pupils in thevaripus numbers of an enspiriting program. Miss Blanche Bubeck of Elkhart assisted in a song drill, enacting very effectively the part of an Indian girl. The local performers exceeded in the sincerity and ardor of impersonation the most zealous expectations of their hearers. Those, whose initial appearance was made Saturday, showed the effects of careful training in the development of a degree of natural talent. Misses Mary Risser and Winifred Hixon had an especially pleasing stage presence and accentuated the value of elocutionary methods by reading juvenile selections with a vivacity and finish that usually ,mark none but adult readers. Moses Diley and James Griffin in complementary sketches exhibited penetrating intonation and vocal versatility.
