This' place is-near .the drygoods department in the center of the store.' Earl ‘ Cochran, one of the owners of the store discovered the flames at midnight. He started in the door of his father's home which *s along the Orchard Island Road; and immediately gave the alarm.’•The contents of the store were ' either burned, or soaked with water.
