Fashion Show for Mature ClubWoman Well Received MondayDeviating from the usual trend of fashion shows -which usually feature attire for “the sweet young thing” whose sylph like figure boasts of twenty-three waist lines, a show for the mature club woman was put on at the Woman's clubluncheon meeting Monday.It was more than a success and the models were enthusiastically received by the club members and their friends, who filled the large ciubroom.Mrs. P. Only a few times this year has that lag beenalso served as commentator. Fashions were through the courtesy of Rubins store and Hugh Tuttle bad -helped materially byseeing that a loud speaker had been installed.During Luncheon';The show, sponsored by the education department of the dub which Is chairmaned by Mrs. Hugh L. Hale, was given during the time luncheon was enjoyed. The luncheon, buffet fashion, was served from a long table that had a stunning fruit, vegetable' and flower centerpiece.Models were Mrs. Hale, Mrs. W. L. Rranche, Mrs. Dewey Crawford, Mrs. Leslie W. Halbe, Mrs. W. W. Hatcher, Mrs. Louis Haynes, Jr., Mrs. A. E. Kretsch-mer, Mrs. E. W. Lins, Mrs. R. A. Melton, Mrs. Harlow B. Near andMrs. A_ VanRavesteyn.Mrs. Frank Cowles, a past president, played the background of piano music.State Officer HereMrs. S. B. Taylor of Vero Beach, treasurer of the Florida Federation of Women’s dubs, was a guest for the occasion and during the program which followed the show and luncheon, talked briefly on the financial picture of the federation.Another speaker was City Engineer Alton A. Register who gave an illustrated talk on the much-discussed sewerage problem of the community and the proposedremedy. i j
