BO, THE BOOKMARK PUPfteadihg books is fun and the best way to learn about the world we live,in. Here is how to makeyour own bookmark and it also makes .a fine present to give Mpm or Oad. Once you learn how, you can make many different bookmarks by cutting out interesting pictures' from newspapers or magazines.\—find an*envelepe, preferably a colored one. With enve* lope seal at bottom cut off left hand corner exactly the size in» dicated by dotted lines above.2—-Color BO, the puppy, with crayons or water colors. On puppy's front view, make^ head's outer edges, ears and pawl yellowish brown. Muzzle and stripe down forehead remain white. -Puppy's chest is white with brown spots. BO's back is brown.3—Cut out t(re whole square and paste on thin white paper with white, library paste. Cut out both views carefully and paste back to back, leaving one-fourth inch at bottom (pavts) Unpasted,4—-Siip the puppy's head over the top of envelope cornef with envelope opening facing down on right hand side. Paste the bottom, ed^es, front and back, firmly to top of envelope corner.Now you can slip the bookmark over any page of your favorite book and BO will guard your place as long as you likd.
