He is a brother of the former proprietor.The new agent lor the Union I3rewr-ing Co. is well known in Oskaloosa, having at. various times conducted a business in this city. Mr. Fursten-burg formerly was agent, for the Sc,blitz beer in Oskaloosa, and at one time was proprietor or a pop factory here.The change will necessitate several improvements of no small nature, it is said, and the saloon will ho im* proved and rfemdoelcd if the statements made yesterday are carried out. The Union Brewing Co. expects if possible to secure more than one foothold for business in this city.Furstenberg Popofsky announced yesterday that they would retire from the liquor business in Oskaloosa, and that they expected within a few months to engage in a general merchandise business in this city. The partners in the firm stated that their plans were far from mature at present, but that they would probably put up a brick building somewhere in the business portion, and would launchtheir enterprise.
