BURLINGTONBURLINGTON—Rianne Strom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anders E, Strom, rural Maple Park, hap bean elected secretary of the sophomore class at Augustana I College, Rock Island. A major in the Division of Humanities, Miss Sfrom was valedictorian when she graduated from Central 301 High School in 1060. She is a member of the National Honor j Society, Women’s Athletic Association, Chi Omega Gamma, women’s social organization, the Augustana College chapel choir and the Lutheran Students Assn.: John Ervin Price, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Price, hap beanordered to active duty in the Army Reserves. He reported for ! duty Nov. 1 and is in Georgia. His wife will reside with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Boyer of Cincinnati, Ohio, for the time being.Sunday callers in the home of Mrs. Emma Godfrey were her sister, Mrs. Albert Seyller of Elgin, Mrs. Edwin Mengeling of Hampshire, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Price of Dundee and Mr. and Mrs. John Ervin Price of Des Plaines,' Mrs. Anna Pfingsten was hostess to the G.K. Club at her home last Tuesday afternoon. In attendance were 11 members and two guests, Lydia Hattendorf andMiss Winnifred Rineck. Refresh-♦ %ments were served by the hostess.
