A PIONEER.Noah Tinkky was born in Washington Co., Pennsylvania June 5, 1813, died Sept. 1, 1891, in Kosciusko Co., Ind. Aged 78 years, 2 months and 15 days.IV hen 23 ye-jrs of age he movedwith his father’s family to Richland• •Co., Ohio, and there, two years alter, he was united in mariige to ^jsa-betli Kasterly on the 14th.6wi ne 1838. that being her birthday, and had the infare on the 15th, that being his birthday. They lived in Ohiountil 1843, when they moved to Indiana. Before they left Ohio thfee hoy8 were born to them, who are still living.When arrivino; in Indiana he settled in .Kosciusko county, four miles west of Warsaw, on the Tippecanoe river, on a quarter section of choice land that he bought for $400 Irom a surveying party, t'n this land he unloaded under n beech tree in Ooto 1 er and erected a rude shanty to serve as a shelter until they could kew logs and build a house.
