WE SAW OURSELVESTHE HOME MOVIES WERE WITNESSED LAST EVENING.Dedication Day Ceremonies Were Shown On the Screen.The court house dedication moving picture pleased every one of the large number of people at the Wil-dey theatre last night. Every scene of the nearly 1.000 feet of film was clear and the persons who acted in this local “movie” were easily recognized.The parade was shown first. The picture man caught the first section of the parade as he was looking north on Kansas street near the school house, which formed the bacs ground for the parade. Anoth-** portion of the parade was taken from the Bphm building. Marshals of the parade, their aids, and all the interesting parts wftc taken. One section showed members of the G. A. R. drilling as they rounded the corner of Vandalia and Main streets.Pictures of the new court house, and of the crowd here to attend tho dedication day exercises were also shown.Speakers at the dedication program were caught while they were talking. In order those who appeared were Fred Henke, chairman of the board of supervisors; Rev. Jas. R. Sager, J. F. Gillham, Mayor D. H. Mudge, Judge Wm. M. Farmer, Duncan McDonald, Former Speaker Joseph G. Cannon and Rev. J. D. Metzler, who said the benediction.Pictures were shown of the federal building with Postmaster J. F. Stillwell and Government Supervisor of Construction M. A. Dolan. Other buildings in the city were taken and several groups presented.The pictures ended with an exhibition by “Joe Joker/’ Mrs. Phoebe Montgomery’s “guidless wonder/' a race horse which runs without driver. Good pictures cf “Joe Joker in action were shown. He was always leading the horse against which he was racing by two lengths at least.Announcement was made this morning that the pictures will tn shown at the Wildey theatre again next Friday evening. This step was taken in order to accommodate many who were unable to* witness the presentation last night because of other arrangements.A reel of a semi-local nature is to be presented at the Wildey tonight Jack DImond, proprietor of the shirt factory has a reel showing the manipulations of machinery such ifc installed here and it will be present-' ed by Manager Edwards of tty Wildey tonight.Tnumn ’Rnnnrl the World.
