Nonagenarian Honored In TiskilwaOpen house Sunday in the Tiskilwa Mennonite church honored Mrs. Emma Albrecht, Tiskilwa, who observed her 90th birthday on Monday, Nov. 1. Mrs. Beverly Albrecht registered the guests. The party was planned by Mrs. Vera Gingerich, daughter of the honoree. Over 100 were present from Princeton, Tiskilwa, Bradford, Buda, Kewanee, Walnut, Peoria, Washington, Erie, Henry,.Eairbury and North Carolina.The Rev. A. E. Appelquist was present and conducted brief devotions, commentingon Psalm 23. He also sang, God Will Take Care of You, with the guests joining in the chorus. Mrs. Janet Woodin accompanied on the piano.Refreshments were served from a table decorated in fall colors and a three-tiered birthday cake, made by Mrs. Bonnie Burdick. Presiding at the table were Mrs. Agnes Albrecht, Mrs. Carol An-driotis and Mrs. Gertrude Waca. Assisting were ladies of the Mennonite church.Hassler's 40thMr. and Mrs. Raymond Hassler, 1810 Fletcher avenue, Princeton, will be observing their 40th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Nov. 11. Mr. Hassler is a patient in Sunrise Nursing home in Mendota, and cards would be appreciated.
