Her lift has been one of activity and usefulness. She I raised her family so that in her old age they were a comfort to her, she having the consolation of knowing that sin* had done her duty by them. During tin* past five years Mrs.Cox has beeu in poor health, and the immediate cause of her death wag general debility And nervous prostration. Rapidly are the early settlers of this county passing away from the scenes of their early privations and activities, hut those of us who have conic later to enjoy the fruits of their labors will not soon forget the memories of their gisuldeeds. The recollections of the good art*pleasant and profitable, and such is the ease with Mrs. Cox.
