McAuley Regional high school basketball coach Is optimistic,**; but he still isn’t smiling much, it’s easy to understand why since he has been stripped of nine of his ten starters from lastyear’s conference winning varsity squad by graduation andan ineligibility.Wyatt’s Warriors won 22 games last season while suffering four setbacks. His fabulous Go-Go “B” team won IB straight j while losing none. Todd was selected to theAll-District team last season and made All-State honorablemention. A 6-1 senior. Todd will have to he content with sup* porting the Warriors from the sidelines this season.Mike Canton, a f-0 junior will top the varsity cage list at McAuley this season. Canton, a forward, played on the A”^ cquad last season and led the team in assists. Greg Scheurieb.£ a*5*10 senior and a member of the Go-Go team last season,2 will play guard this season for the varsity. Schcurich scored 2 13 points per eame last season on the “B” team.
