Surprise Party.Oue of the most complete and enjoyable surprises was given by Mrs. Davidson aud Charley Leebrick to their mother on Tuesday evening, her sixty-eighth birthday. She had been invited to spend the day with Mrs. Jerry Wallack, and when Charlie drove up with her she walked in, all unconscious of the reception awaiting her. About a dozen or more old friends, among whom were Aunties Barber, Pefferman, Tussell and Deibert, Grandmothers McCoy, Watkins and Silvester were there to wish many happy returns of the day. Qne of the most interesting featureswas the very well filled table that was prepared for the occasion and which was duly appreciated by all. After a pleasant evening Charlie drove home with the old ladies whowere unanimous in pronouncing hima jewel of a son, and said if they were only fifty years younger there is no telling what might happen.
