Mrs. E. L. Belden of No. 1302 1st street spent Sunday in Marshalltown the guest of relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hofler of No. 804 Argo street were business visi tors in Clinton Monday. Mrs. Robert Meehan of this city was a visitor in Des Moines Sat urday. Mrs. A. E. Murphy of No. 1303 Benton street was a Des Moines vis itor Monday. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Pollen of the Holst Hotel, spent Sunday in Des Moines, guests of relatives. Mrs. George Pamer of No. 1004 Carroll Street was a Des Moines vis itor Monday, returning home in the evening. Mrs. B. R. Cook and daughter of No. 1115 Greene Street were among those from here who spent Monday in the capital city. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Meyers of the Crazy Apartments were visitors in Marshalltown Sunday, guests in the Ed Hughes home. Mrs. J. E. Havens of No. 1116 Boone street spent Monday in the capital city, returning home in the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Wheeler and children of Omaha spent the week end here in the parental F. D. Wheeler home, No. 623 Jefferson St. Mise Ruth Williams who attends Drake University, Des Moines, spent the weekend here in the parental R. E. Willams home, No. 1555 First street Mrs. Jesse Shull of No. 722 Thir teenth street and sister, Miss Flo Gagnon of No. 805 Thirteenth street were visitors in Des Moines Mon day. Mrs. A. Kendall of No. 1541 Fifth street Was a visitor In Iowa City Sat urday, the guest of her daughter, Miss Caroline Kendall who is in training in the University hospital. Miss Margaret Alexander of No. 515 Story street returned home Mon day evening from Cedar Rapids, where she spent the week-end a guest in the home of her aunt, Mrs. Otto Baker. Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Gorham and daughters, Miss Wanda and Mrs. Mildred Torrey and baby who have been living at No. 1140 Union street left today for Cedar Rapids, where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Erickson of Stanhope and Mrs. K. C. Sandahl and children of Des Moines were guests in the Eric Peterson home, near Ontario Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Sandahl is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peterson, Dr. and Mrs. H. 8. Hill of No. 117 South Greene street returned to their home in Boone Monday night from Burlington where they spent the week-end guests of Mrs. Hill's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Larson. They drove in their car. Better: — The condition of Mrs. Andrew Laing of West Ninth street, who is ill in her home is better. Not So Well:—The condition of Mrs. Olive Warden of No. 218 Fifth Street who is a patient in the Boone County hospital is not so well.
