A. Saw telle was found floating in the Missiseippi river, op{*oaite this city. He was for some time a resident of Chicago, and played leading parts at the Globe ’iTieater; from there he went to Quincy, where he was engaged with a travelling roioiany. Being thrown put of employment, he was very much depressed in spirits, and a few days since came to this city in search of something to do; finding nothing, it is supposed he jumped into the river on last Friday or Sat unlay. On his i**rson were found a number of tickets to various entertainments, and a note hinting at the probability of his committing suicide- He was about twenty-sixyears old, and leaves a wife and child.
