A. Saw telle was found floating in the Mississippi river, opjKictite this city. He was for some time a resident of Chicago, and played leading parts at the Globe 'iTieater; from there he went to Quincy, where he was engaged with a travelling coioi»any. Beingthrown out of employment, he Was very much depressed in spirits, and a few days since came to this city In search of something to do; finding nothing, it is supposed he jumped into the river on hurt Friday or Saturday. On his j»erson were found a number of tickets to various entertainments, and a note hinting at the probability of his committing suicide. He was about twenty-six years old, and leaves a wife and child.
