PI CHAPTER OF PDELTA GAMMA DELTAORGANIZED AT COE.IThe festivities incident to the installation of Pi chapter of Alpha Gamma Deltu. was concluded Saturday evening: with a banquet in Boyson’s blue room at which the installation officers, pa- j tronesses and inititates were guests, !The decorations were red. bud roses and several baskets tilled with flowers.which w ere presented to them by j friends. The patronesses were Mrs. William Benson, wife of Prof. William Benson of Coe college; Miss MariaLeonard, dean of women: Mrs. David Beardsley, and Mrs. Atherton (’lark. The installing officers were Misses Gladys Reker, formerly of the University of Minnesota; Miss Marie BelJing-hausen, formerly of Northwestern Uni-versity, and Miss Maude Rose, an ac- J tive member of the faculty of the University of Wisconsin. Miss Rose wasinstrumental in obtaining a chapter in Coe college.Alpha Gamma Delta was organized in 1904 and the following universities and colleges have chapters: Bostonuniversity, Illinois Wesleyan. University of Minnesota, California university, Ohio university, De Pauw university Women’s college of Baltimore, Washington state University, Allegheny colic v» Northwestern university, University of Wisconsin. Bresnau college, University of Kentucky, Doe college.The pledging of the various members took place at the home of Miss Marie Kellogg Saturday morning and the installation at the home of the MissesBrownell. The active and alumnae members of the chapter are: Arlene Ravenseroft of Cedar Rapids, Helen .Tufts of Cedar Rapids, Ruth Tufts of \Cedar Rapids, Vivian Peabody of Independence, Velda Fox of Cedar Rapids, Anne Stirton of Monticello. Elizabeth Curtis of New-Hampton. Margaret Krotzer of L.e Claire, Marie Kellogg ofCedar Rapids. Mildred Crane of Cent/alCity, and Ethel Woodbridge of Central City; Bernice Toms. Florence BrownellLouise Brownell, Maude Brownell, Josephine’ Brandau. Irene Good and Beulah W’ingert.
