Rev. Chat. Liebel. who for three .years past has faithfully ministered to the spiritual needs of the St. Sabinas Catholic parish at Clermont with theout lying- missions at Mt. Alton and Simpson, has been given a d swerved promotion in the list of Erie diooe** eh ing* s just announced by the Blah -op.Father Liebel has been named as pastor of Sr. .John's church at Tidioute with the attached missions at Garland and Irvineton and leaves for his newheld of labor this wreck.Under the new Diocese program the St. Sabina's parish assumes status aa a mission and will be attached to St. Elizabeth's parish, Smethport, in charge of Rev. P. J„ Donohue, pastor of the local church. The missions at Mt Alton and Simpson will be under the jurisdiction of Father Gleason of Mt. Jewett.During his fruitful stay at Clermont Father Liobel has endeared himself to a wide circle of friends of all religious denominations In the towns of hisdistrict and In Smsthport. 'The best wishes of a legion of friesnds follow this brilliant young priest to his newcharge.
