HAS NEW FEATURES.Steeplechase at Revere Beach Will be Opened Friday Afternoon.With the opening of the steeplechase at Revere Beach Friday afternoon and evening, the season at the beach will be weli begun, for this big amusement pavilion has become an essential part of the popular shore summer resort.Manager Pettingill has sent out hundreds of invitations for a private opening of the pavilion tomorrow evening, iind Friday noon the doors, will be thrown open to the public. Although the establishment met with phenomenal success from its beginning and prospered last year despite the unusually cold and wet season, the management has been busy during the winter preparing additional amusements for their patrons.The opening attraction offered this year is the performance of Ullven, the famous wire performer, who will slide by his teeth down a wire suspended from the highest peak of the big amusement pavilion, 150 feet from the ground. This startling feat will be given every afternoon and evening, and vvm oe iite to all in the steeplechase. The steeplechase course itself, with its fast horses, will prove a fascinating pastime for men, women and children this year year, as ever. The cave of winds, the third degree, the house of trouble, with new complications, the funny stairs and the other features, too many to mention, have been put in excellent condition and are waiting the thousands of pleasure seekers who will surely go to the steeplechase this year.
