SOUTH POINT - South Point High School, disrupted by a ’teacher strike earlier in the year, recently graduated 154 in the senior class. However, the seniors did not receive diplomas since they turned up missing the Wednesday before graduation. New diplomas have been or-dered and will be sent to the students by mail.Harvey Butcher, LawrenceCounty school board president, passed out empty folders during the ceremonies since the county board took over operation of the district earlier in the year.
