Seeks BackdropsSinatra Is in TokvoTOKYO (SS)—Crooner Frank Sinatra arrived In Japan Wednesday with James Van Heusen, producer of his U.S. television show, to scout Oriental backdrops for a show to be shot here next year.Van Heusen, contacted Thursday at Sinatra’s suite in the Imperial Hotel, said the two plan to spend “about a week or two here before moving: on to Hong Kong and possibly Bangkok and Calcutta.“We just want to hava somefresh new locales for the show, Van Heusen said. He and Sinatra arrived here via a Pan American plane from Honolulu.Asked if he and Sinatra planned to visit Nikko, Hkone or any of the colorful resort area around Tokyo, Van Heusen said: “We don’t know. This is our first visit to Tokyo and we’re more or leas making our own way.”He said there was no definite schedule in the location scouting.
