The weather man was on his good behavior for this year’s show which also was an important factor,Many here declare it to have been the best, rodeo ever seen in San Saba and one ,of the best in the state and it went off in fast moving sequence each evening, under the guidance of Earl Sellers, master- of ceremonies and promoter. Wiley McCray, the clown, with his well trained mule, with Mrs, McCray’s_ fancy riding, added much to the interest of the show. First elass rodeo stock, and lots of competition among riders and ropers, coupled with an outstanding parade Thursday afternoon, rounded out the excellent tliree-night show at Rogan Field.Gross receipts in ticket sales for the first night were $1,234.00; second night $536.35; third night $917.50, totaling $2,686.85.
