The white bam was scheduled to be repainted that year and Troike decided to leave his touch when that was completed.Unfortunately for the Bicentenniel, more pressing needs arose and the bam — and the two flages — were not painted until the next summer.So while Troike’s flags were a bit late for the spirit of ‘76, they were easily in time for the spirit of ‘80 that has seen hundreds of smaller flags appearing in windows and doorways.Lately, Troike has been making wooden replicas of candlestick telephones, and he said he hasn’t run out of ideas.And how does the rest of the Troike family feel about his hobby?
