DOROTHY YOUNG Ph. 824-3667Reception HeldA reception was held Sunday afternoon at the Dutch Run Trinity United Church of Christ In honor of Mrs. Caroline (Callie) Rahn, who was 87 years old on May 18.Mrs. Rahn stated that she had always wanted a birthday party, and that this was the first one ever held in her honor.Mrs. Rahn was confirmed at the Dutch Run Church on her 16th birthday and has been a member ever since. For many years she served as Sunday School superintendent.Mrs. Rahn is the mother of two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Effie) Criss with whom she makes her home during the winter months, of Route 8, Newark.: Mrs. Paul (Rebecca) Baker of Millersburg Route 3, and one son, Amandus Rahn of Walhonding and seven grandchildren and 14 g r e a t-grandchddren complete her family.Servtng at the reception table were her granddaughters, Mrs. Mary Lou Kent, and Mrs. Joyce Frazee, and great granddaughters, Penny Rahn, Patty Fraze and Colleen Kent.Approximately 65 attended the celebration and the guest of honor received may gifts.The next meeting will be held June 3 at the Walhonding Ball Park at 6:00 p.m.Garden ClubWarsaw Garden Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the home of Margaret Bower.Roll call will be answered with “I have a garden question.” program, “interesting Habits of Worms.” Mrs. William Crawford; horticulture report and exhibit, planting shrubs to benefit our feathered friends, Mrs. Gene Brenneman.CHURCH NEWS WARSAW UNITED PRESBYTERIAN Rev, John Russell, Ministerfl 30 a m Worship Service 10 30 am Sunday SchoolWARSAW METHODIST Rev.
