Audichron InitiatedThe correct time of the day and the temperature of the hour are now as close to Piano-area residents as their telephone, according to Bob Roberts, District Manager of General Telephone Companyof the Southwest.Audichron, anewtime-tem-perature feature, was recently announced by General Telephone Company. Roberts stated, “This is a new service being offered to our entire community. It means anyone wanting the correct time and temperature in Plano may simply dial the number, 844-6611, and within ten seconds the voice of Audichron comes on the line with the information. The electromechanical equipment is located in the General Telephone central office.”“Audichron never sleeps,” Roberts said. “It automatically awaits and responds to your call, all within tenseconds.”
