The parade isscheduled to start at 9 a.m.from the intersection of Orchardand Shabbona m the Willcounty section of the village.It will proceed down Shabbona to the Talala school andopen the Pow-Wow, scheduled jto start immediately after the:awarding of prizes to Talala pupils who entered decoratedbicycles or costumed themselves and marched in the pa-In addition to the band andthe students, the parade will include 10 baton twirlers, theBox Scout Troop 169 color£guard, ponies, a miniature fire engine, clowns and a surrevIIwith the parade marshal, Norm Nelson, riding in it,Judges for the bicycle and costume prizes are Vito Giordano and Dick Davis.The P o w-W o w, scheduledfrom 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in theschool xard and gxm, will havea carnival atmospnerp.For the children, there will be games, cotton candv, pop corn, a dip tank, ponv rides, a miniature fire engine ride and clowns selling balloons and other novelty items. There willalso be a garden shop, a white elephant shop and a bake shop for the parents.Mrs. Donald E, Safford andAugust Schlaffer, are co-chairmen of the event.
