Reunion Is Held At Saunders HomeMr*. 01 lie Alexander and her two daughters, Lura Foreman and Nina McCormick of Denver, Colo, were honored at a family reunion held May 18 at the home of Mr. j and Mrs. M, H, Saunders, 213 N. Bellevue, The Saunders are Mrs, Alexander's great nephew and niece.Mrs. Alexander is the daughter of Thomas Green Lee, pioneer farmer who came to Walla Walla from Indiana ta lggo. He was a leading citizen of the frontier territory and one of three men who organized the first Walla Walla fair.Mrs, Alexander graduated from St. Paul’s School.Of the Lee’s seven children, only Virgil Lee of Chehalis survives beside? Mrs. Alexander. The family lost contact with one another following their father’s death and it was only recently that they were able to successfully trace each other.Family Is RepresentedAll seven branches of the family were represented at the reunion land a dinner was held ir» the Saund-I ers’ garden at which time Mrs, Alexander was presented a bcu-jquet of roses by her niece, Mrs,J W. E. Delano. She and Mr. Lee I were both given family log books | which had a picture of their father ;on the covers.j The attractively decorated table jv/as centered by a large cake inscribed with Lee Family Reunion.” Assisting the hostess in receiving the out of town relatives were Mr. and Mrs. Everett Thomas and son, and Mrs. A. L.
