The prizes in each of the four events were. $5 fo^ first- and $2 for second. W. F. Soost and Jas. Kennedy split the prize money for the oldest Ford,the judges considering it a tie. In the slow race, for the Ford driving the-.slowest in high gear, Mr. Soost won first money and Orlando Scott second.: Mr. Kennedy won first prize for bringing the largest family to town, Mr. [Soost winning second money. A stranger from Tyndall* S. D., wasoverwhelmed to receive $5 for coming the longest distance to town Sales Day, and promised to spend the money with local merchants. - Second prize went to a man living 14 miles northwest of Hawarden. Prizes amounting to §28 were given away.Attend Shrine Meeting •J. H. C. Schoenemah; Mr. and Mrs. W.. W.. King, Mrv and/Mrs. O. W. Davis, Morey Balcom and his mother, Mrs. W. Balcom, T. S. Huyck;Wm.
