Hoppe’s band will meet the president and will then play from 2 o’clock until 7 p. m.The Empire State band will play at the grandstand from 4 p. m. until 7.Owing to lloppe having two theatrical contracts it was necessary to make these changes.Inland WinsThe Inland Empire band won outIn the controversy as to which ofSpokane's musical organizations should head the Roosevelt day parade. Both the Hoppe and Inland Empire hands concluded to play, no matter where they were placed.The committee therefore decided to settle the dispute by tossing up a j coin.
