Turner Stump, head of the school of speech and director of the uni* versity theater at Kent State University, will speak on The Educational Balance Sheet at the 60th■ctnnual commencement exercises of Huron High school on June 2, rt' 8:15 p, mM in the school auditorium.Thirty-two members of theClass *pf 1949 will-receive diplomas. They include Patricia Bachman, Virginia Cassidy, Dorothy Doyle, Patricia Doyle, Eileen Forthofer, Mary Jane Frye, Charlotte Isaac, Joyce Klein, Patricia Lyons, Josephine Meno, Donna Jean Paige, LaVerne Slocum, Marilyn Taylor, Dixie Thomas, Lois Trook, Betty Webster, Robert Anderson and Julian Brophy.Donald Doty, Bichard Dowell, Richard Garton, Taylor Gund-Jneh, Daniel Meyer, Richard Payne, Dale Reddick, William Schell, Jack Schnaitter, William Scott, David Steinmetz, James Spencer, Alfred Weingarfc and Wesley Wilcox,Patricia Bachman, ranking student in \ the class, will give the valedictory, and Richard Payne Js the salutatorian. Invocation and benediction will be pronounced, by the Rev. Robert Harriman .of First Presbyterian Church, Huron.Scholastic and achievement awards will be presented by the organizations sponsoring them in accordance with the plan adopted last year. Representatives of these organizations will be introduced by Edward Asher, president of the Alumni Association.Dorothy Laub and Carl Michel will be the junior escorts, and Sue Dahlhofer, Patty Sartor, Shirley Burton and Ann Waite, the junior ushers. *The class sermon will be delivered by the Rev. Hunsdon Cary, Jr., rector of Huron Christ Episcopal Church, on May 29, at 4:30 p. m., in the school auditorium.
