Tom Berry upon recommendation of the state pardon board. One commutation asked by the board was denied.Pardons were granted for: CharlesHand, committed from Pennington county in October, 1931. to serve five years for burglary; William L. Tuck, committed from Davison county in September,1930. to serve ten years for robbery, and George Kitterman, committed from Bon Homme county in March, 1932, to serve three years for burglary in the third degree.The seven and a half year sentence of Mike Palmer, who was sent to the penitentiary in September, 1929, for robbery, was cut to five years.The commutation denied was that recommended for Earl P. Longden, sentenced from Butte county in November,1931, for grand larceny.
