From Jacksboro we traveled a uorth-east, direction, for Forestburg in Montague county, passing through Degress, Crafton and Sunset. Degress contains only one store and one blacksmith shop. Some of the citizens call this place “Distress,” and it seems to me this would bea more appropriate name. The houses around this little place are generally very small and built of logs or native lumber.
