Spent two days Waiting and preaching at Grantsburg. Found the place much improved every way; minus a saloon. Returned through English, also greatly improved, with a handsome church recently dedicated, and like that atGranta-burg to be open under certain regulas tionstomore than one denomination which seems to be the liberal spirit of all the societies now building houses of worship in Orawford county, along the now popular, useful, well officered Air Line road.Became acquainted with the physicians at the villages mentioned, many of whom we have longf known, and noted their growing reputation as valuable and skillful practitioners; owing to the gen eral good health at present, not pocket ing much money.
