A Trip Through CrawiordCounty.Preached and visited four days at the growing village of Milltown. Found trade brisk, health good, and two new churches under way; one on each aide of the river, whicU if built will make the picturesque scene more picturesque.Visited Marengo, and found it grown out of our remembrance. Gould not see the old town for the new. Met Prof. Johnson in his academy with a large I number of young male and female stu-dents. A church building on a good site progressing here.Spent two days at Boston preachingand visiting, Hospitably entertained byMr. Eckerty and family in their mostconvenient and handsome hotel. Theirattention and kindness to guests andtravellers is not likely to be forgotten bythose who visit them. A handsome echoolhouBe is being erected near the new Presbyterian church ground.
