Mr. Robert Kirkby was very much ]surprised Monday evening at his residence, 183 West llurd street, by about twenty couple of young people who: spent the erening in dancing and other amusements, Mr. Jack Fern managed the dancing part of the evening in a very ge nial way, which will long Le lemembered by all who were present. Refreshments wore served at mid night, ami the music rendered by the “May Flower” quardrille band wa magnificent.
