Criss, Sowell winWilliam Sowell and Lloyd Criss III of La Marque were Championship winners this weekend in the 1976 Regional Junior Olympic Boxing Tournament held inGalena Park. More than 150 boys participated in the tournament representing more than 25 amateur boxing clubs fromthroughout the Texas Gulf Coast.Sowell, 15, led the 159 pound Senior Division while Criss headed the 85 pound Junior division.
